Lore
Downmitt is all fluff and mittens, and it only wakes when the stars come out. It hugs things to keep them warm, and does not understand why some of them stop moving.
The Mantle Owl
Beasts with an owl's face, a lion's tail and wings worn like cloaks, who walk on four legs. They came down from the high dark and hunt in silence under the stars that made them. A Mantle Owl's wings show what it chose to hold on to.
